CLEVELAND, May 13, 2019 -- Speedeon Data, a leading data solutions provider and direct marketing services firm, has recently hired Neil Barry as Chief Legal Officer. Neil’s primary focus at Speedeon Data is to ensure compliance with all applicable direct marketing and data management industry standards, and to engage with Speedeon clients and partners on legal, privacy, data protection, and other regulatory compliance topics.

Neil joins Speedeon with more than 21 years of international financial services experience with expertise in designing and implementing risk, governance, and control frameworks. During this time, Neil has been responsible for managing regulatory relationships across the globe and advising senior management and board members on risk issues.

Prior to joining Speedeon, Neil was the Group Head of Compliance for Standard Chartered Bank, responsible for managing the global compliance function. Neil has also worked for Citigroup, most recently as the General Counsel of the Citigroup’s International Retail Bank. Neil graduated with a B.A. in History and Political Science from Vanderbilt University, a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from Case Western Reserve School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from NYU.
